About The Realm and The Realm Collective
The Realm Collective is a vibrant, multidisciplinary group of artists, writers, musicians, scientists, mental health professionals, social workers, and creative visionaries. Together, we dream, design, and bring to life The Realm, an immersive event series rooted in deep community building.
Each Realm event is a curated journey of live music, spoken word, visual art, and community ritual. Participants are invited to move freely, rest deeply, create spontaneously, or simply be present.
At its core, The Realm is a living, breathing space for curiosity, wonder, and healing. It’s a container for those seeking more: more connection, more creativity, more collective aliveness. Our events are designed to nourish the spirit, ignite the imagination, and foster authentic community across generations and disciplines.
The Realm is dedicated to accessibility and inclusivity in programming and concept.
Calling all creatives, misfits, rebels, writers, musicians, artists, yearners and dreamers:
We’re always looking for collaborators and community builders who feel drawn to join us in shaping what’s next. If you feel the pull, this might just be your place.
We’d love to hear from you! Contact us for more information.
As a fiscally sponsored nonprofit, The Realm Collective relies on donations and sponsorships to support our work so we can continue creating meaningful experiences for the community. Donate Here
More about the
Director
The Realm was founded in 2024 by versatile creative Lauren Jacobson (she/her). Lauren is a clarinetist, educator, and activist dedicated to connecting people across genres and cultures. Her career includes thirteen years as professor of clarinet at the University of Northern Colorado, orchestral and chamber music engagements worldwide, and four years performing with The President's Own Marine Band and Orchestra in Washington, D.C. Now professor of music emerita, Lauren performs frequently with the Colorado Symphony and spends much of her time on arts-based advocacy projects that merge music, visual art, storytelling, and science. When not working on these projects, you can find Lauren playing with her two young children, trail running, or digging in the hard-packed Colorado clay soil of her garden. She holds a Doctor of Musical Arts and Master of Music from the Eastman School of Music. More about Lauren online at www.laurenjacobsonmusic.com
